Music brings a lot of happiness and memories to me. I relate to music because a couple years back when I was in elementary school me, my sister, and cousins Deja, and Mariah always watched the movie "The Cheetah Girls." There were four main girl actors that sang throughout the whole movie, and called each other sisters, even though they had different races and parents. After watching "The Cheetah Girls" me, my sister, and my cousins were inspired to sing and dance along with the girls in the movie. We learned all the songs and presented them in front of our family. We loved presenting in front of people. "Now throw your hands up if you know that you’re a star! you better stand up if you know just who you are! never give up; you’ve come too far! girl power! girl power!" We lit up our little "stage" for, "Together We Can."
My family always played music in the car, at birthday parties, special occasions, or holidays. Music brings back memories for me and delights my senses. When my sister, and cousins, and I listened or sang “The Cheetah Girls” songs, we related to the music by never giving up on our dreams, and having each others backs when we're in tough situations. "The Cheetah Girls" songs helped me when I was unhappy I would always listen to "Together We Can" by The Cheetah Girls to cheer me up.
I have noticed music has become a big part of my life, and I’m sure others have felt that too. Throughout high school, music has helped me with feeling stressed out with homework or tests coming up. I usually listen to artists like The Weeknd, Rihanna, and Ciara to help me cheer up when I’m sad or angry or get through some things in my personal life. When I’m listening to The Weeknd songs I feel tranquil.
I believe music is the pure language of the soul/heart music can create positive feelings for a person. Music lets you send your other dimension into another universe it can help in a lot of different ways physically and emotionally.
